February 8th: the valentines i bought for my kindergartners
i lamented for several minutes in CVS trying to pick out the box of valentines for the kids in my class (shocker, i know). i was going to get these dog ones with red lollipops, but the cards displayed on the box were weird...i'm hoping these are appropriate enough. and i'm sure the kids like dum dum's...although in hindsight, i can imagine them fighting over flavors on friday. oh well. the thing that really got me was the 2 teacher cards i can give to each of my cooperating teachers ;)
it's an exciting week at the school. 100th day tomorrow and valentine's day celebration friday. i think i'm getting the hang of this teacher thing...it's growing on me, which is good since it will be my profession soon, ha. my read aloud flopped this afternoon because the kids weren't paying attention/were excited but you win some and lose some.
bed time. pajama day tomorrow too!
