sorry i haven't posted in a few days. i have been really busy with student teaching with meetings and the multicultural festival last night. here's the past few days, all dealing with my kindergartners studying pakistan...
February 24th: me wearing a traditional pakistan scarf
February 25th: my friend who is on the cricket team at UNC came and explained it to my kindergartners. aren't they cute :)
February 26th: one of the posters of my class for the multicultural festival, when they got to hold all the cricket stuff and posed for a picture. we also wore a hat and scarf and played hopscotch.
it was a fun week! but long. i take over full time next week, and then start my unit the week after. so far it hasn't been as bad as i thought it could be. hopefully it continues to be alright! i saw shutter island last night - weird movie! but really really good. it was a psychological thriller that made me think, and i like those. i have a lot of lesson plans to write (hopefully will work on those today) and do the P90X workout i missed yesterday. then hopefully seeing new moon in the union :) and maybe going out tonight? hope it's a good weekend.
Did you teach them about the potential Pakistani-Indian nuclear war or about al-Qaeda hiding in the Pakistani mountains? OR our insistent reliance on an insecure and unstable government in an insecure and unstable region?? :D
