catching up

i haven't blogged in a week. goodness. life has been pretty busy i guess...i even forgot to take pictures on two days :/ i promise i will try to blog almost everyday up until we leave for the beach a week from saturday! here is what has been going on:

May 19th: my interview outfit

i no longer have the memory card with the cute picture of skylar, so this is the other picture i took that day, getting prepared for my interview. sadly, i did not get the job. they hired a more experienced teacher.

May 20th: hanging out with skyb after my interview

we stopped on the way to pick up my car after dad and roy drove down for a bike race, then we did a day of outlet mall shopping

May 26th: big snake eating a little snake

i went to CH on the 25th to move more of my stuff out and this was going on at chris' house. he spotted it and we watched for a while. it was intriguing to say the least.

May 27th: racepackage.com pit crew girls

speed street for the next two days

i am exhausted after walking all around downtown today after driving two hours home from CH. i have to go to speed street again tomorrow and saturday, and then going to see chris on sunday before he leaves on tuesday :( he'll be gone until the end of june. a whole month i won't see him. that will be weird.

since i slacked on pictures, i'll leave with some extreme cuteness. i love having little ones around all the time - they make everything happier

hello, real world

i have a job interview tomorrow.

i spent all day in my room organizing and unpacking. and made a sort of hippie-esque display

May 17th: workout

probably the longest i've ever been on a treadmill. i'm trying out interval workouts.

May 18th: early morning coffee, running errands with mom

i took an adorable one of skylar today, but it is on the camera that is downstairs, so i will post it later. i have a teaching interview in winston salem tomorrow at a catholic school in the morning. i am really nervous. i've never done an interview. i know it won't be the end of the world if i don't get the job, and this is really just on a whim, but i'm still anxious about it. i'm trying to tell myself to be calm and relaxed and that it will not be terrible - and if anything, i am getting experience interviewing. i hope everything goes as well as it possibly can.

time to go attempt to sleep. i hope my nerves don't keep me awake.

skylar told jennifer that she should name her new "baby brother" either dixie or wormy. that girl has quite the imagination. kylan stayed with us for the evening and i got to hang out with sky some when they came to pick him up. so that was nice.

today we put up my new bed (laura's old bed) in my room and i got to organizing/rearranging a few things. i still have so much to do unpacking and organizing wise. but at least it will keep me busy while i continue to be unemployed with no prospects or hope. this adult life is not all it is cut out to be.

i think i'm going to go to church tomorrow with my parents. then i will hopefully go for a run outside, do a P90X workout, shower, maybe take a nap, and devote most of the day to unpacking and such. and see rachel tomorrow night :)

i'm home!

it has been a great few days being back so far. most people don't like going home, but i really do love being here. graduation went well (besides a few mishaps such as breaking my camera, dropping my phone into my drink - although it survived-, and some shizz at the bar)...i can't believe it went by so quickly! life is flying by. and so are the days...

this is a book i will read this summer and precisely follow once i (hopefully) get a job

chris said he would consider moving to orlando with me. i sent my resume and cover letter to the principal of that school. then i went to ikea and dreamed of the decor i could put in a cute one bedroom apartment we would share. i spent most of my day fanaticizing about florida. it's just such a big decision...but if chris came with me, i think i would definitely make the move. it's just a great opportunity that is very difficult to pass up in this economy when i really want to teach and want the experience.

i had to get up early to babysit so i'm beat. goodnight charlotte.

the day is almost upon us

i cannot believe graduation is almost here.

we went and took more old well pictures today in our caps and gowns. i'm really going to miss this place. this week has gone by fast i feel like, but it also seems like it has dragged on because i feel like i turned in my last exam forever ago, but it hasn't even been a full week. i wish i would have packed more already - but i usually save everything until the last minute.

May 3rd: starbucks

i found out today that frapps are 50% off from 3-5 until may 16th. i'm excited.

May 4th: our fridge

took this thinking about how, in a few days, i'll never have to use it again.

May 5th: caribou and the last harry potter book, which i finally started

May 6th: basketball museum.

the 6 min video at the beginning gave me chills.

harrison's birthday party is tonight. the last celebration before graduation night. the second to last night of being irresponsible with my friends and being young, carefree, stupid, etc. i can't believe it is all almost really over. my life is about to really change.

well, this week hasn't really worked out for blogging haha. it's almost like when i have nothing to do, i'm still busy. BUT i did turn in my last and only exam yesterday. i'm officially done. what a weird and scary feeling. here is what has been going on the past week...

looking at a lot of these pictures is making me really fear graduation because i am going to miss everyone so very much. and i'm going to miss going out and having a good time with my friends, and a lot of this about this place in general. but on the flip side, i'm excited to go home and be with my family and my friends i don't often see. now this week i really need to work on finding a teaching job since my exams are out of the way. i can't believe graduation is a week away. time to go clean up/pack and try to be somewhat productive - and i will really try to keep up with my blogging for this next week :)
