better late than never

June 26th: hello there neil

June 27th: only a portion of how messy the house was for the weekend without the parents

June 28th: trying on outfits for twilight party
i was bella. oh, and a loser obviously.

June 29th: twilight party. victoria, jane, edward, bella, and alice.
we also had rosalie, emmet, and jasper not pictured.
and we went to the midnight premier of eclipse like this. don't judge.

June 30th: ivette and i's art at caribou.

i can't believe it's already july. where did june go? i turn 22 in 27 days. i still don't have a teaching job. i'm more and more toying with the idea of moving somewhere, just escaping. but i'd miss everyone so much. eclipse was amazing. i can't wait to see it again. and for it to come on DVD, haha. i just love how artistic the movies are and this one really stayed true to the book. i have to go work for jennifer again today. and i'm sort of babysitting right now. and then going to hendersonville for the weekend...chris' family reunion and graduation party, and the 4th of july. i'm sad i'm missing my family's celebration, but hopefully the weekend will turn out okay. i've gotten like 11 hours of sleep in the past 2 days, so i see a nap/early bedtime in my future. happy july 1st!

it's the freakin' weekend

June 24th: the children are obsessed with photobooth.
we're not complaining.

June 25th: i painted sky's nails and we watched new moon

i worked all week for jennifer, who is now kind of my part time employer, learning how/writing reports for the company she and roy work for. and obviously some kid sitting was thrown in there. otherwise, it's a lame friday night for me. i'm going to bed soon. i'm kind of getting sick so i hope i feel better tomorrow. chris comes!

goodnight.

waiting and anticipating

June 22nd: rereading eclipse before the movie comes out in less than a week!
i'm more than halfway through

June 23rd: "working" at jennifer's/photo shoot with skylar

i watched jimmy kimmel with the eclipse cast on it tonight, and it got me even more pumped for the movie which is out in less than a week. i can't wait. so lame, but so excited. also how about the USA and the miracle in the world cup today? more excitement. chris is also back in the US from europe, which means in a few days i'll see him once again. the month flew by. i can't believe it is almost july. scary. cause i still don't have a real job. otherwise, life has been dandy.

goodnight.

unconditionally and irrevocably in love

June 16th: picture my dad brought home from his office of laura and i, as he felt it was pretty outdated...
i know, i look good

June 17th: moving out of my house in carrboro. bedroom is all empty.

June 18th: photobooth is great entertainment while babysitting

June 19th: neil, laura's new hookah

June 20th: dad's father's day present from all the kids and mom

June 21st: yummy breakfast.
i should eat this same thing on 4th of july, it seems pretty patriotic to me

after the father's day celebration at brian's last night, we went over to rachel's place and watched twilight. hopefully we'll watch new moon sometime this week, and then next tuesday is the twilight party and going to opening of eclipse! i'm a loser, but i'm pretty excited. i also need to get motivation to find a job and figure my life out. i've been making money babysitting, so that's always a plus. happy monday and official first day of summer.

burnt

June 15th: it was a hot day

yesterday i found out i didn't get the job in orlando. bummed is an understatement of how i feel. i really wanted that job. apparently the principal loved me, but thought i'd be unhappy moving. which sucks because i feel like i didn't really get a fair chance to be happy there and to be a good teacher there. very frustrating. now i'm back to square one and still unemployed with zero prospects. life is hard. i'm going to chapel hill tonight with rachel and mom to move out the rest of my stuff. then i'll come home and figure out what to do with my life. happy wednesday.

hey, there

June 13th: kristen stewart, my idol

okay, maybe not my "idol", but i really like her a lot. this was taken today on a grocery store trip with my mom. coincidentally enough, i went to rachel's cute new apartment to hang out tonight, and it was sitting on her coffee table. i'm going to read it next time i go over there. we also talked about her twilight party on the night eclipse comes out. we're losers. tonight was nice, just what i needed - hours of chatting with my best friend.

goodnight famous people i wish i could be.

i didn't tatch a twab

this is the longest i've gone yet without posting. my life has been a whirlwind these past few weeks. i finished up working on speed street, then went from charlotte, to hendersonville, to charlotte, to jacksonville, to orlando, to gainsville, to jacksonville, to charlotte, all in a matter of 6 days. then i went to ocean isle for a week. luckily, i didn't miss an opportunity for a picture.

May 28th: working downtown with racepackage.com, near the epicenter

May 29th: skyb after her ballet recital. she's a cutie.

May 30th: pretty mountain view on the way to hendersonville

May 31st: the sky on the brink of a storm

June 1st: arriving back in Charlotte

June 2nd: trip to lowes with jennifer to load up on essentials to work on the rental house in jacksonville

June 3rd: killing time in starbucks before my interview in orlando

June 4th: what i shared the seat with on our trip back to Charlotte from Jacksonville

June 5th: arriving at ocean isle :)

June 6th: the good life

June 7th: two of my favorite people

June 8th: skylar.
i'm kind of in love with this picture.

June 9th: strawberry daquiri deliciousness

June 10th: evening storm at the beach

June 11th: the siblings

June 12th: tan

June 13th: my favorite silly band, light blue turtle

looking back, it has been a great couple of weeks. i miss the beach so much, and it's rough getting back into the simplicity of life. i still don't know if i have a job, but if i get the one in orlando, i'll be moving there. the thought of that is becoming more exciting. i just have some babysitting lined up for the next few weeks, but nothing exciting. hopefully my life has settled down some, and i can resume somewhat normal posting.
