there's no place like home

i'm home!

it has been a great few days being back so far. most people don't like going home, but i really do love being here. graduation went well (besides a few mishaps such as breaking my camera, dropping my phone into my drink - although it survived-, and some shizz at the bar)...i can't believe it went by so quickly! life is flying by. and so are the days...

this is a book i will read this summer and precisely follow once i (hopefully) get a job

chris said he would consider moving to orlando with me. i sent my resume and cover letter to the principal of that school. then i went to ikea and dreamed of the decor i could put in a cute one bedroom apartment we would share. i spent most of my day fanaticizing about florida. it's just such a big decision...but if chris came with me, i think i would definitely make the move. it's just a great opportunity that is very difficult to pass up in this economy when i really want to teach and want the experience.

i had to get up early to babysit so i'm beat. goodnight charlotte.

the day is almost upon us

i cannot believe graduation is almost here.

we went and took more old well pictures today in our caps and gowns. i'm really going to miss this place. this week has gone by fast i feel like, but it also seems like it has dragged on because i feel like i turned in my last exam forever ago, but it hasn't even been a full week. i wish i would have packed more already - but i usually save everything until the last minute.

May 3rd: starbucks

i found out today that frapps are 50% off from 3-5 until may 16th. i'm excited.

May 4th: our fridge

took this thinking about how, in a few days, i'll never have to use it again.

May 5th: caribou and the last harry potter book, which i finally started

May 6th: basketball museum.

the 6 min video at the beginning gave me chills.

May 7th: sara and i + mccauley boys at the old well

harrison's birthday party is tonight. the last celebration before graduation night. the second to last night of being irresponsible with my friends and being young, carefree, stupid, etc. i can't believe it is all almost really over. my life is about to really change.

well, this week hasn't really worked out for blogging haha. it's almost like when i have nothing to do, i'm still busy. BUT i did turn in my last and only exam yesterday. i'm officially done. what a weird and scary feeling. here is what has been going on the past week...

looking at a lot of these pictures is making me really fear graduation because i am going to miss everyone so very much. and i'm going to miss going out and having a good time with my friends, and a lot of this about this place in general. but on the flip side, i'm excited to go home and be with my family and my friends i don't often see. now this week i really need to work on finding a teaching job since my exams are out of the way. i can't believe graduation is a week away. time to go clean up/pack and try to be somewhat productive - and i will really try to keep up with my blogging for this next week :)

time flies

so i haven't posted in like a million years. life has gotten busy. but i have big news: I AM OFFICIALLY A CERTIFIED LICENSED TEACHER! :)

a big weight is now lifted off my shoulders. time to enjoy senior year.

and that is all. hopefully i will have more time to blog now that all my crazy hectic stress is out of the way and it's smooth sailing the rest of the semester. senior bar golf tonight, powerpoint due tomorrow, championship indoor soccer game monday, and last day of classes wednesday! i cannot believe college has flown by so fast. where does time go?

sunshine makes me happy

so i haven't exactly updated everyday of spring break...but i'm working on it. here is my break so far. i love love being here, and i kind of don't want to go back...

i loved today because i felt so accomplished (maybe not school wise, but in doing things that i wanted to do and had fun doing). i went to caribou with ivette (who went back to boone today), i spent hours at a pool with laura, sky, campbell, and jackson (and we may be able to watch this pool all summer!!), played basketball with laura, made dinner myself, and got my workout in.

tomorrow i have plans to write my resume - it's been hanging over my head, and i know i'll just feel better if i get it done. plus, i need to start applying for jobs in the online system. i'm really nervous about finding one actually.

but for now, it's bed time. i'm exhuasted.

and now i'm sitting on the couch watching duke beat WVU and being sad. but i'm probably going to bed soon to wake up for early mass in the morning - this will be the first time i've gone to church in forever. then i have plans to work out, possibly lay out, and then go to my brother's for easter celebrations. pretty excited. i'm ready for a fun and relaxing spring break. i've needed a break badly.
